Rafael Rebelo

PhD student

Rafael Rebelo is a research fellow in PolySyc group since April 2018. He obtained his MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization in Biomedical Devices and Biomaterials, in 2017. In his mater thesis, Rafael developed an ionogel, in PolySyc group, that was used for being the interface between an electrode and skin, for EEG signal recording. His current research focuses on the synthesis of novel bioplastics for daily use, as well as, development of new bio-based materials, as cellulose based materials.
