Mafalda Lima is a PhD student in PolySyc group since 2019. She received her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) with specialization in Biomedical Instrumentation and Biomaterials in 2016. In 2017 she began working as a research fellow at PolySyc. To this day, Mafalda has developed and published work in multiple areas of polymer science with a great emphasis on greener polymeric solutions. Her current research focuses on developing new biomimetic tissue adhesives.
