Joana Costa joined Polysyc in 2021 after finishing her MSc. She obtained the MSc in Chemical Engineering in University of Coimbra in 2020. Her master’s thesis was dedicated to research on a drug delivery system based in hydrogels as a contribution to a partnership with a pharmaceutical company. Her current work focuses bio-based and biodegradable plastics for the substitution of single-use plastics currently in the market.
