Jéssica Ribeiro
PhD student
Jessica Ribeiro has been a research fellow in the PolySyc group since 2017 and was awarded a PhD scholarship in 2019. She began her work focusing on the improvement of ATRP (Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization) techniques. Her PhD research is dedicated to the polymerization of novel glycopolymers via ATRP for biomedical applications.
Currently, her research is centered on the development of new composites through the incorporation of natural fibers into polymeric matrices. This includes both the processing and comprehensive characterization of the resulting materials, to evaluate their performance and potential applications.
