Carlos M. R. Abreu received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Coimbra (Portugal) in 2018. He completed his Master degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Coimbra (Portugal) in 2008. Then, he joined the group of Professor Jorge Coelho at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) in 2011, where he completed his PhD project in collaboration with Professor Krzysztof Matyjaszewski from Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, USA) in 2018. Currently, he is Associate Junior Researcher from University of Coimbra, focuses on the development of technologies for reversible deactivation radical polymerization (RDRP) and advanced polymeric materials.
