Andreia Romeiro is post-doctoral research in PolySyc group since 2021. She obtained PhD in Chemistry – Specialization in Photochemistry of the University of Coimbra (2019). During the PhD, Andreia synthetized semiconductor metal oxides for used in the degradation of drugs and pesticides in water, using photocatalysis process. More recently, work in the synthesis of nanostructured materials by sol-gel technology (aerogels), synthesis of nanostructured superparamagnetic particles and degradation of pollutants. Her current research focuses on the recycling of multilayer films.
