Mission

Our research group aims to develop polymer-based materials with tailored properties that can meet the requirements of specific applications. We are specialized in the synthesis of polymers using a variety of techniques, namely free radical polymerization, reversible deactivation radical polymerization and step- growth polymerization. Of particular interest is the use of polymerization methods suitable for large scale production. The research group has extensive experience in developing bio-based and biodegradable materials that can replace polymers produced with fossil-based monomers. The research group is equipped with state-of-the-art characterization techniques that allow the evaluation of key polymer properties.
